Maker Essentials

Keep your digital patterns in sight and small notions within reach, while you work on your next needle-craft project.

Handmade with love in Canada from natural maple wood, this phone stand features a magnetic tray to keep stitch markers, scissors, and darners on hand. The smooth concave of the tray allows for easy retrieval of tiny notions, while the magnetic bottom keeps them from scattering on your tabletop.

These beautiful and super practical mini zip pouches are perfect for safekeeping your needlework tools. We ve designed these with two-way zips to allow the pouch to open ultra wide to make it easy to find even the tiniest of notions. Each Zip is adorned with two adorable tiny tassels. Whether to use as a notions zip, makeup pouch, or mini travel necessaire, the quality of craftsmanship and full-grain leather will make this an instant favourite accessory.

Each bag is handmade in Ukraine with our signature Crazy Horse leather, specifically chosen for its sought-after aging qualities, like the characteristic caramelization of the colour and development of a unique patina. Lean into the character and history that daily wear provides or check out our Leather Care Kit to clean and condition your leather to full strength and shine.

The Sidekick Pouch is your ultra-portable tray pouch for crafting and everyday use. Snap it open to create a little tray that keeps your essentials visible and within reach, then snap it shut to clip it to your project bag or belt.

Inside, you’ll find four magnetic hotspots —perfectly positioned to hold:

• your tiny leather tape measure (bottom left)
• a set of removable stitch markers (top left)
• leather tapestry needles slip for tapestry needles or cable keys (right)
• mini scissors - inside the top magnetic slip pocket

The magnetic hotspots keep your notions in place—even when you open it while it's clipped to your bag/belt.

To transform it into a free-standing tray, pop it open and pinch the side walls to help the leather fold outward, allowing it to stand open as a small tray that keeps your tiny notions easy to grab.

Two leather loops on the back let you thread the pouch onto a bag strap or belt, while the included metallic clasp ring allows you to clip it onto your bag for easy access. It’s compact yet sturdy enough to hold coins, cards, or keys when you’re on the go—because good design should work wherever you do.

You can purchase the Sidekick Pouch on its own, or select add-ons to create your own complete notions kit, including:

• mini scissors
• removable stitch markers
• tiny leather tape measure
• tapestry needle slip with 2 tapestry needles

These compact zip pouches are great for safekeeping your essential notions or tiny bits. Each one is handmade by Portuguese artisans from the highest quality local cork fabric. They are dyed with all natural vegetable dyes to produce these beautiful pastel colours. While they are soft and delicate to the touch, cork is actually as durable as leather, while at the same time being water-resistant, lightweight and easy to clean.

Cork is a sustainable and cruelty-free material. Did you know that cork production actually cleans the air? A harvested oak is by law left for 9 years to regrow its bark, thus allowing a single tree to produce multiple harvests, while staying undamaged. During this time, the tree absorbs up to five times more CO2.

As it is a natural wood product, the pattern and texture can vary slightly, making each item subtly unique.

Due to the nature of the soft leather material on the handle, some scuffing may occur. Use a slightly damp soft cloth to rub out minor scratches, as well as any spots on the cotton rope itself.
